Enjoy a scenic Thames river cruise and admire the sights and sounds of Oxford. Head downstream towards Iffley village, passing the university regatta course, ancient Folly Bridge, Christchurch College and Meadows and the university rowing houses. The Isis as it is locally known, is a particularly busy stretch of the river, dotted with rowing eights, punts, university boats and pleasure cruisers. This Thames river cruise offers a perfect way to get a taste of Oxford’s delightful city and rural outskirts.

Availability: Cruises operate daily from March to October. Weather: Only extreme weather conditions resulting in flooding would prevent go ahead. Duration: Cruises last for approximately 50 minutes at the following times throughout the day – 11am, 3.30pm, 4.30pm and 5.30pm. Please note that during November and December cruises run at 11am or 2.30pm. Numbers On Day: There will be a maximum of 12 people on board. Spectators: Spectators are welcome to wave from the river bank. Dress Code: Dress for the weather with a hat, sunglasses and sun cream in summer. Please avoid high heels. Guidelines: Restrictions: Under 16’s must be accompanied by an adult (18 or over).
