Imagine crashing through the undergrowth, dodging exploding paintballs, hiding in bunkers or spying on enemies from on high. On arrival, be kitted out with freshly laundered combat coveralls, full face protection paintball goggles and top of the range semi-automatic paintball gun with 100 paintballs each. Be given a full safety briefing by an experienced marshal before commencing play. This is a real chance to shake off the day-to-day responsibilities and rekindle a spirit of adventure. There are between six and eight games included in the full day experience, played out within differently themed areas and zones, set up to test your skills of strategy, leadership, navigation and teamwork.

Availability: Every weekend throughout the year. Weather: Paintballing will go ahead whatever the weather. Duration: Please expect to be at the venue for approximately eight hours. Each game lasts around 20 minutes. Numbers On Day: Work as part of a team of 15 to 20 people doing battle against an opposing group. There can be up to 250 participants on-site during the day; the more the merrier, extra soldiers make for more paintball challenging madness. Spectators: Because participants play in several different areas, spectators are not able to see the action and are required to remain in the safety zone at all times. Dress Code: Wear old clothes (ideally layers or thick, padded clothing) and trainers or walking boots. You’ll be provided with overalls, full face masks, goggles with eye, ear and throat protection and all other equipment. Guidelines: Exit the M40 at junction 4 to A4010 Aylesbury. Continue over two roundabouts and at the third roundabout turn left onto Cressex Road, (signposted Lane End). Go over the mini roundabout, take second exit onto Horns Lane (ten yards before motorway bridge) then at the bottom of the hill turn left onto Lane End Road. After half a mile turn right into Fryers Farm Lane, Skirmish are a hundred yards down on the left. Restrictions: Minimum age 16. Paintballing is physically demanding and paintballs can bruise if you get hit. Other Info: Players tend to use around 400 – 500 paintballs. Lunch and additional paintballs can be purchased on the day (balls costs around £7 per 100).
