Description

Porsche 911 versus Nissan GT-R: a German masterpiece versus a Japanese powerhouse. The Porsche 911 is simply one of the world’s most iconic sports cars and TV’s famous test track, Dunsfold Park is just the place to give it a spin. The Nissan, meanwhile, is a bit of a monster, with 4WD, a 3.8 litre V6 engine and two turbochargers, it goes from 0 – 60 mph in just 3.5 seconds with a phenomenal top speed of 195 mph. Kick off with a briefing on driving techniques from the instructor. Next, take the wheel of either a 996 or 997 version of the Porsche 911 and drive for four high-speed laps, followed by four more laps driving the GT-R. Conclude by picking up a certificate to take home and keep.

Availability: Approximately 10 weekday and occasional weekend dates throughout the year. Weather: Driving may be cancelled or curtailed in extreme weather conditions like ice, heavy rain or high winds, when driving at speed might become dangerous. Contact is made in advance if the experience is cancelled for any reason. Duration: Lasts approximately two hours. This includes briefing, safety guidance, driving time and debrief. Please arrive one hour in advance of the booked time to ensure a prompt start. Numbers On Day: Up to 30 people take part. Briefings are shared with a group. All driving is held on a one-to-one basis. Spectators: Spectators are welcome. A camera will come in handy. Pets are not allowed at racing circuits. Dress Code: Wear long trousers and a long-sleeved shirt. Guidelines: Restrictions: Minimum height is 5’2”, maximum is 6’6”. Maximum weight is 18 stone. A full British or international driving licence must be produced on the day to guarantee participation.
