Description
A rip-roaring, hair-raising experience perfect for speed demons. Take the wheel of two motoring powerhouses on a Yorkshire track. Begin with a briefing on driving techniques from an instructor. Then for the main event, get behind the wheel of the timeless Porsche 911 – one of the world’s most iconic sports cars and a dream to drive – for four incredible laps. Afterwards, drive the Nissan GT-R, a Japanese beast with the power to reach 62 mph in 3.5 seconds and a top speed of 195 mph, for four more laps. With a driving assessment and certificate at the end of the session, this is truly an unforgettable driving experience.
Availability: Approximately 10 weekday and occasional weekend dates throughout the year. Weather: Driving might be cancelled or curtailed in extreme weather conditions (e.g. snow, ice, heavy rain or high winds) which would make driving at speed dangerous. Contact will be made if the experience is cancelled for any reason. Duration: Lasts approximately two hours. This includes briefing, safety guidance, driving time and debrief. Please arrive 45 minutes in advance of the booked time to ensure a prompt start. Numbers On Day: Up to 30 people take part. Briefings are shared with a group. All driving is held on a one-to-one basis. Spectators: Spectators are welcome and there are catering facilities on-site. Extra (chargeable) drives are available on the day. Safety dictates that pets cannot be permitted. Dress Code: Dress comfortably (and warmly in winter) with trousers, long sleeves and narrow, flat-soled shoes to negotiate pedals that are close together. A helmet is provided. Guidelines: Restrictions: Maximum weight is 18 stone. Minimum height is 4’11” and maximum 6’5”. A full British or international manual driving licence must be produced on the day in order to participate. Other Info: When booking expect to be offered the choice of buying a collision damage waiver at £20 to £40 additional charge. Please note there is no obligation to purchase this optional waiver.
