Discover what it’s like to drive a rally car at Prestwold Hall, a purpose-built venue designed to push these cars – and you – to the limits. Start with a safety briefing with a seasoned instructor, who introduces you to the unique driving techniques needed for rally driving. Next jump into the driving seat to drive three different cars: first up is a Mitsubishi Evolution V, followed by a Subaru WRX Rally, both on a purpose-built tarmac rally stage. Finally, tear around a loose gravel stage in a specially-engineered Group N rally car. Also receive a tailored driver certificate to take home.

Availability: Weekdays and around twice a month throughout the year. Weather: Driving may be cancelled or curtailed in extreme weather conditions which would make driving at speed dangerous. Contact will be made if the experience is cancelled for any reason. Duration: Lasts around three hours, including a briefing, safety guidance, driving time and debrief. Please arrive 45 minutes in advance of the booked time to ensure a prompt start. Numbers On Day: There will be up to five people in your group. Total numbers at the venue will vary. During the driving bit, only you and the instructor will be in the vehicle. Please be aware that there tends to be a large number of people taking part at weekends. Spectators: Spectators are welcome. Get them to bring a camera. The venue has good facilities for spectators and drivers, including a US-style diner. Dogs are not allowed. Dress Code: Wear flat shoes which are comfortable for driving. Helmets are provided, but if you have your own you’re welcome to bring it along. Guidelines: Prestwold Hall is east of Loughborough and accessible from the A6 (take the B675) and the M1 motorway (exit at junction 23, take the A512 to Loughborough, the A60 towards Nottingham and then the B676 and B675). Restrictions: Minimum height is 5’2”, maximum is 6’4”. Maximum weight is 18 stone. A full manual or international driving licence must be produced on the day to guarantee participation. Other Info: When booking expect to be offered the choice of buying a collision damage waiver at £20 to £40 additional charge. Please note there is no obligation to purchase this optional waiver.
