Uncover the mysteries of rally driving at Prestwold, a purpose-built venue designed to push these mean machines to their limits. Kick off with a safety briefing from an instructor, who provides an introduction to the unique driving techniques required for rally driving. Once ready, jump into the driving seat and take the wheel of very three different cars: first up is a Mitsubishi Evolution V, followed by a Subaru WRX Rally, both on a purpose-built tarmac rally stage. Finally, tear around a loose gravel stage in a specially-engineered Group N rally car. At the end, receive a certificate to take home.

Availability: Weekdays and around twice a month throughout the year. Weather: Driving may be cancelled or curtailed in extreme weather conditions which would make driving at speed dangerous. You’ll be contacted if the experience is cancelled for any reason. Duration: Lasts around three hours, including a briefing, safety guidance, driving time and debrief. Please arrive 45 minutes in advance of the booked time to ensure a prompt start. Numbers On Day: There are up to five people in your group. Total numbers at the venue will vary. During the driving, only you and the instructor share the vehicle. Please be aware that there tends to be a large number of people taking part at weekends. Spectators: Spectators are welcome. Get them to bring a camera. The venue has good facilities for spectators and drivers, including a US-style diner. Dogs are not permitted at any circuit for reasons of safety (other than guide dogs). Dress Code: Wear flat shoes which are comfortable for driving. Guidelines: Prestwold Hall is east of Loughborough and accessible from the A6 (take the B675) and the M1 motorway (exit at junction 23, take the A512 to Loughborough, the A60 towards Nottingham and then the B676 and B675). Restrictions: Min age 17. Min height is 4’10”, max 6’4”. Maximum weight is 20 stone. A full British or international manual driving licence is required and must be brought on the day to guarantee participation. Other Info: When booking expect to be offered the choice of buying a collision damage waiver at £20 to £40 additional charge. Please note there is no obligation to purchase this optional waiver.
