Description

Get ready for a rip-roaring, adrenaline-pumping thrill ride on the Solent with a 60 minute taster session in a RIB (rigid inflatable boat). After an essential safety briefing, head down to the pontoon, board the RIB and head out to the Southampton water, leaving Ocean Village and passing the luxury cruise liner berths before turning south towards the Solent. Once there, the session steps up a gear with tight turns, jumps, wake rides and riding the swell. With the wind whipping through your hair, hang on and prepare to get wet on this heart-pounding and exciting ride of a lifetime.

Availability: Runs on Saturdays, Sundays and occasional weekdays from early March to late October. Weather: Extreme weather conditions can result in cancellation and rebooking, please call the venue if in doubt. Duration: Lasts around one hour, including safety briefing and life jacket fitting. Numbers On Day: Share the vessel with up to 11 other powerboating enthusiasts. Spectators: Guests are welcome at the marina. Facilities are excellent and include restaurants and jetties packed with high performance and luxury powerboats. Once participants are out in the open water, it is not be possible to view the action. Dress Code: Wear casual clothing and bring a change of clothes in case of getting wet from the spray. A waterproof jacket and salopettes can be hired for £5. Guidelines: Restrictions: Unsuitable for pregnant women and those with previous back or neck problems. Min age 8 but under 18’s must be accompanied by a paying adult (one per child under 16).
