Learning how to scuba dive is a ticket to a lifetime of underwater adventure and this two-person experience is a perfect introduction to scuba diving. From a swimming pool in Southampton your instructor offers expert instruction on safety and underwater mobility techniques. In your scuba diving lesson you’ll also learn how to breathe underwater and achieve weightlessness while getting used to the equipment. All equipment is included at Southampton pool so just bring yourselves and a sense of adventure. You and friend may love the experience so much you could be on your first steps to a PADI course or next stop scuba diving in the sea. Your Scuba adventure may start at Southampton but end up at the Great Barrier Reef, who knows?

Availability: This experience operates on Wednesday evenings throughout the year with two weeks minimum notice required for booking. Please call us to check the latest availability. Weather: Duration: Your experience will last for around two hours, but this may vary depending on the standard of pupils. Your time in the pool is around half an hour. Numbers On Day: There is a maximum pupil to tutor ratio of 8:1. Spectators: We don’t recommend bringing spectators, but they can usually be accommodated upon request – please ask when booking. Dress Code: Bring a swimming costume, a towel and a T-shirt each to wear in the water to cushion you from the scuba apparatus, which can sometimes rub against the skin. All other equipment will be provided, including your tanks, masks and scuba gear. Guidelines: From the M3, join the M27 East Portsmouth then exit at junction 8 Hamble. Join the A27 at Bursledon (Windhover Roundabout) heading westwards towards Fareham and cross the River Hamble. Andark is on the left opposite The Old Ship pub. Restrictions: Minimum age is 10. You must be in good health and comfortable in water. If you suffer from asthma, diabetes, claustrophobia or any respiratory, heart or other medical conditions you’ll need to provide written medical approval from your doctor in advance. Other Info: All participants are required to sign a medical declaration and disclaimer before taking part. No previous experience is necessary, beginners are welcome.
