The sensation of gliding through the air in a high performance helicopter is is one of the most exhilarating experiences imaginable. After a thrilling ascent expertly executed by an experienced pilot, the views across the verdant landscape of Dorset from the air are absolutely amazing. Availability: Flights happen around one weekend date per month, at each venue, from April to October. Weather: This is a weather dependent activity, mainly due to wind speeds and cloud base above the ground. It is crucial to call the venue before setting out to check conditions. If the flight is cancelled, it can be re-booked directly with the venue. Duration: Expect to be at the venue for about one hour, including a safety briefing and a flight time of around five minutes. Please arrive 20 minutes in advance of the booked time to ensure a prompt start. Numbers On Day: Share the flight with up to three other passengers and a seasoned pilot. Spectators: Spectators are welcome to watch the take off and landing. A pair of binoculars or a camera comes in handy. Dress Code: Please bear in mind that inside the helicopter can get quite warm.
