Combine a surfing lesson for two in Bournemouth with an overnight hotel stay. Your group will start on dry land as the qualified instructor goes over the surfing basics. Be taught to paddle, handle the board and go from lying to standing before riding the waves like a pro. After surfing, head to the stunning Cottonwood Boutique Hotel, located on a clifftop – the perfect location for a costal break. Spend the night in an en suite double or twin room with a full English breakfast in the morning. Explore the local area and vast natural beauty on offer around the hotel. Stay during January – March and October – December and a complimentary bottle of wine is yours on arrival.

Availability: Surfing takes place daily throughout the year, except Mondays during winter. The hotel can be booked Monday to Friday, excluding July, August, all bank holidays, Valentine’s Day, Mother’s Day, Easter and the Christmas and New Year periods. Weather: Duration: Lessons for surfing start at 10am or 2pm and last around two hours. The stay is for one night. Check in after 2pm. Check out before 11am. Numbers On Day: Spectators: The surfing experience is only cancelled in the event of extreme weather conditions which cause the beach lifeguard service to raise a red flag. Please call ahead if in any doubt. Dress Code: All specialist surfing equipment is provided, but please bring swimwear and a towel. Guidelines: Restrictions: Guests aged 18 or over are welcome and must be able to swim a minimum of 50 metres unaided, possess a reasonable level of fitness and declare any medical conditions prior to booking. Other Info: This is the only Surfing GB (SGB) Centre of Excellence based on the south coast and all tutors are ISA Accredited Surf Instructors. Cottonwood Boutique Hotel offers free parking.
