Surfing is one of the world’s most exhilarating and rewarding watersports. This surfing lesson in Bournemouth offers a great chance to learn all the basics from an ISA qualified instructor. Start on dry land with a full group briefing and once kitted out with a wetsuit and board, it’s time for the surfing to really begin. Wade into the sea with your ISA qualified surfing instructor and learn how to paddle, handle the board, go from lying down to standing and after a while, you’re sure to be riding the waves like a professional – well, almost! Surfing is a challenging sport, but with a little time, perseverance and the right conditions, it’s a thrill which is likely to have you hooked.

Availability: Seven days a week throughout the year (closed on Mondays during winter). Weather: Duration: Lessons last around 90 minutes, with morning and afternoon lessons are available. Please note: there is also an option on the day of extending the lesson for hour for £5 so you can test out your new skills. Numbers On Day: Share the experience with up to 22 others. Spectators: This experience is only cancelled in the event of extreme weather conditions which cause the beach lifeguard service to raise a red flag. Please call ahead if in any doubt. Dress Code: All specialist equipment is provided, but please bring swimwear and a towel. Guidelines: Restrictions: Minimum age is eight. Participants must be able to swim a minimum of 50 metres unaided, possess a reasonable level of fitness and declare any medical conditions prior to booking. Other Info: This is the only Surfing GB (SGB) Centre of Excellence based on the south coast and all tutors are ISA Accredited Surf Instructors.
