Description
Ease the fear of bungee jumping by taking a tandem jump with someone special. Both get strapped together face to face, wearing a harness at the waist and ankles. After extensive safety checks made by the instructor, rise up to the top of the 160 foot crane in the cage lift. Then together, step out onto the platform, jump and hang on for dear life! This is an extraordinary experience to share with someone, plus there is the opportunity to purchase video footage of the bungee jump on the day as a special souvenir.
Availability: Weekend dates around once a month throughout the year. Weather: High winds or heavy rain might prevent your jump going ahead. If in doubt, call the venue to check before you leave. Duration: After registering, a bungee time slot is allocated and the jump usually takes place within an hour. Safety checks, briefing and harnessing take around three minutes and the jump itself lasts just a few heart stopping seconds. Numbers On Day: Up to 100 others will also jump on the day. Spectators: Spectators are welcome – get them to bring along a camera or video. Dress Code: Wear long trousers rather than a skirt (you’ll be upside down!). Glasses and hard contact lenses must be removed prior to jumping. Guidelines: The venue is just minutes off of the M4 motorway in Bray, close to Windsor. Great Western Trains operate between London Paddington and Maidenhead station for this most popular venue in the south east. Restrictions: Min age 14. Under 16’s need a parent/guardian’s signature. Max weight is 120kg (18.9st), waist size between 40cm – 125cm. Over 50’s must produce a doc’s certificate. MUST be in good health and inform of any medical conditions beforehand. Other Info: Conditions that will prevent you from jumping include high blood pressure, heart condition, dizziness/epilepsy, pregnancy, asthma, neurological condition and diabetes.
