Experience the mind-blowing thrill of freefall after jumping out of a plane at 13,000 feet before floating leisurely to the ground. Upon arrival at Swansea Airport, get prepared with around 20 minutes of instruction and a safety briefing before boarding the plane for a 12 minute journey to the skies. Get securely strapped to an instructor before both jumping into the sky! After about 55 seconds of incredible freefall – an unforgettable feeling, the instructor activates the parachute and the rest of descent is spend taking in the beautiful surrounding scenery. With a cafe and viewing area nearby, there is plenty of room for any spectators who need to see it to believe it!
Availability: Weekends and bank holidays throughout the year. Weather: Jumping is always subject to weather conditions and cancellations for this reason are made with safety in mind. Duration: Allow for a full day at the centre. The experience itself lasts approximately 20 minutes, around an hour in total with the briefing. Numbers On Day: Training might be shared (there can be up to 40 jumpers on any one day), the jump takes place one-to-one with a fully qualified skydiver. Spectators: Spectators are welcome and can make use of the cafe and viewing areas at the airport. A camera and binoculars come in handy. Dress Code: Dress warmly and comfortably, with trainers. Guidelines: Restrictions: Max weight, 13 stone for women and 15 stone for men. Min age 16. Under 18’s need prior written parental consent.
