Description

The 4×4 is a great transporter vehicle, but it has to be taken off road to unleash its full capabilities. Kick off with a full safety briefing, before hopping into the passenger seat whilst a fully qualified instructor completes a demonstration drive. Once familiar with the course, get behind the wheel of a mighty 4×4 (a Land Rover, Mitsubishi or similar vehicle) for a truly thrilling off road driving session, storming up sharp slopes, negotiating difficult angles and splashing through water crossings. This experience is one on one, allowing plenty of time to get acquainted with this powerful vehicle and make full use of the specially-designed off road course course behind the wheel.

Availability: Seven days a week, excluding Christmas Day, Boxing Day and New Year’s Day. Weather: Driving might be cancelled or curtailed in extreme weather conditions which would make driving dangerous (please call the venue if in any doubt). If this happens, you will be rebooked for an alternative date. Duration: Lasts for three hours including a briefing, an instructor demonstration and two and a half hours of hands on driving. Numbers On Day: Other than the instructor demonstration, all 4×4 driving time is held on a one-to-one basis. Spectators: This experience is not suitable for spectators however up to two passengers can choose to ride in the 4×4 for a fee of £40 per vehicle (arrange and pay on the day). Drinks and snacks are available. Dress Code: We recommend sensible, outdoor clothing suitable for driving. Ground conditions are rough and a strong shoe with ankle protection is therefore advisable. No high heels please! Guidelines: Restrictions: Min age 17 and max weight 22 stone. Max height 6’6”. A full British or international manual driving licence must be produced on the day in order to participate. Advise of any medical conditions before booking, to ensure suitability to participate.
