Take to the skies in a genuine 1930s vintage Tiger Moth and feel the rush from the open cockpit while passing over historic airfields which were used by the military in both world wars. Fly from Old Sarum Airfield and soak in unique aerial views of sights including the lost World War I airfields of Lake Down and Larkhill, as well as the World War II airfields of Boscombe Down, High Post and Oatlands Farm. You’ll even pass over the mystical Stonehenge site. This thrilling Tiger Moth flight offers sightseeing with a difference and is a must try for historically interested vintage aviation enthusiasts.

Availability: Thursdays and Saturdays throughout the year, excluding the Christmas and New Year period. Weather: Flying is weather dependent and it is crucial to call the venue on the day. The Tiger Moth is a vintage open-cockpit plane and certain weather conditions may result in the flight being rescheduled. Duration: Lasts around one hour including a briefing and 20 minute flight. Numbers On Day: Briefings may be shared, but the flight is held on a one-to-one basis with a qualified instructor. Spectators: Spectators are welcome and the venue is equipped with toilet facilities and disabled access. Safety dictates that pets are not permitted at any airfield. Dress Code: Wrap up warm, wear soft-soled shoes, bring sunglasses and tie back long hair. All specialist equipment is provided. Guidelines: Restrictions: Minimum age is 16.
