The thrill of track cycling on an indoor banked velodrome awaits avid biking fans at the brand new Derby Arena. Opened in March 2015, the 250 metre velodrome has already made a name for itself, hosting major meetings. Get on your bike to learn handy hints and techniques, all on the very same stretch of track ridden by the likes of Bradley Wiggins, Mark Cavendish and Laura Trott. Over a three hour period, British Cycling coaches cover everything a rider needs to get the most from the track, as well as offering a range of tips which can be transferred to everyday road cycling. To finish, put those new skills to the test in a scratch race, a sprint and a team pursuit.
