For beer lovers who would love to take their hobby to the next level, this day at Brewhouse and Kitchen in Poole is the real deal. Start with breakfast and then head to the micro-brewery for a chat with the head brewer before getting properly involved with the full brewing process. Try a hand at mashing in, boiling, adding hops and yeast and other additions that go into brewing a craft beer. It’s thirsty work, so afterwards tuck into a hearty pub lunch accompanied by a selection of the best house brews (including an oatmeal stout tribute to Poole’s spymaster, John Le Carre) – tasty. The day ends with a question and answer session, then two weeks later go back to collect a five litre keg of the beer brewed to take home and enjoy – cheers!
