This fantastic simulator experience in West Sussex is perfect for aviation enthusiasts who want to get a feel for what it’s like to be a professional pilot. After an initial, thorough briefing with an expert instructor, jump into the cockpit of the PA34 Piper Seneca simulator for an extensive 120 minute flight simulation. Under guidance and support from the instructor, get familiar with the controls of the aircraft and begin with getting to grips with taking off. Throughout the session, practice and perfect different aspects of controlling an aircraft including a smooth and safe descent and landing. A fascinating and thrilling experience for those who love all things airborne!
Availability: Seven days a week (excluding Christmas and New Year), subject to availability. Weather: Duration: After a 30 minute briefing, spend two hours at the controls. Please arrive a few minutes early to register. Numbers On Day: Share the simulator exclusively with up to three spectators and the instructor. Spectators: Up to three guests can be seated in the (separate) cabin area. Dress Code: No special clothing is required, just dress comfortably as if for driving. Guidelines: From A272 eastbound, continue a couple of miles past Billinghurst.Turn left for Thornhill (just before sign for Coolham village. If you pass village hall have gone too far) and drive down access road, through gate and follow signs to park. Venue is on car park approach on right. From west go via M23/A23 onto A272 westbound as far as Coolham crossroads. Half a mile on turn right (Patman’s farm on left, Thornhill on right) to the access road. Restrictions: Minimum age 10. Other Info: Mobile phones must be turned off before entering the facility.
