Treat yourselves to a two night stay for two people at 42 The Calls, a cleverly converted 18th century riverside corn mill in downtown Leeds. You’ll see signs of the building’s previous life with photos of the mill during its conversion, big mill windows with wooden shutters and remnants of pulleys wheels and girders in the ceilings and walls. Stay in a deluxe double or twin room featuring a handmade bed, Egyptian cotton linen, homemade cookies, fudge, complimentary designer toiletries, plasma TV and wireless internet access. A traditional hearty Yorkshire breakfast is included. It’s just a short walk from the Victoria Quarter Leeds famous shopping district and The West Yorkshire Playhouse, Headingley Cricket Ground and Elland Road are all nearby.
Availability: Seven days a week throughout the year, excluding Christmas, New Year, Valentine’s and 11 – 29 July. Book as far in advance as possible (minimum eight weeks recommended).
