Description
Soak in the capital’s sights from the comfort of a vintage 1950s Routemaster bus and a Thames clipper river cruise in the same morning. Board a vintage open top double decker bus at Victoria Coach Station and learn all about some of London’s landmarks including Big Ben and the Houses of Parliament from a guide. Next, head to the infamous Tower of London (home of the Crown Jewels) and enjoy a chance to take a few pictures outside before hopping on a Thames clipper for your cruise. Enjoy unique river views of the city’s sights before re-joining the bus and stopping outside Buckingham Palace to witness the Changing of the Guards. Finish the tour at Westminster Abbey where you can explore at your own leisure.
Availability: Runs daily from April – October, Monday, Wednesday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday in November, December and March and Friday – Sunday in January and February. Weather: Closed top buses may be used in the event of extreme weather conditions (e.g. heavy rain or snow). Duration: The vintage bus tours depart London Victoria station at 7.45am. You will be dropped off at the end of the tour at Westminster Abbey at approximately 12.30pm where you can explore the Abbey at leisure. Numbers On Day: Share the tour with up to 38 others.
