Begin with a briefing and Segway tuition from an expert instructor before hitting the practice area to get familiar with the controls. Once ready, climb aboard for a Segway tour of this illustrious country park – ride through the grounds of Upton House, take in stunning views across Holes Bay, get close to the native plants and wildlife unique to the area and venture into Grove Woods. In the woods, there’s a chance to pick up the pace and see what your Segway is really made of and ride the many humps, humps and challenges of this off road terrain!

Availability: Runs on Wednesdays, Thursdays and Fridays throughout the year. Weather: This experience is only cancelled in the event of extreme weather conditions such as severe ice or snow. If in doubt, please call the venue before setting off. Duration: Lasts around one hour. Numbers On Day: Share the experience with up to five other Segway riders, plus a qualified instructor. Spectators: Spectators are welcome and Upton Park has accessible on-site facilities including toilets and a cafe. Dress Code: Please wear comfortable outdoor clothing and sensible shoes (no sandals or heels) such as trainers or walking boots. A helmet is provided. Guidelines: Restrictions: Minimum age is 12 (children under 16 must be accompanied by a participating adult). Minimum weight is seven stone, maximum weight is 18 stone. Segway driving is not suitable for pregnant women or anyone suffering from a bad neck or back.
