Description

There’s no better way to bond than on a raft hurtling towards terrifying twists, drops and eddies on a former Olympic canoeing course! This experience for two will take place as part of a group of nine, accompanied by a friendly professional guide, onboard a custom-built raft. Together, navigate this exciting course using just paddles and teamwork, avoiding obstacles, enjoying breath-taking drops and getting sprayed with each and every challenging wave. Certainly not for the faint-hearted, this white-knuckle experience will leave all breathless and exhilarated!

Availability: Sunday – Friday year round. Weather: In extreme weather conditions, this activity may need to be postponed. Duration: Between three and four hours. Please arrive 30 minutes before start time. Numbers On Day: The raft holds up to nine people plus an instructor. Spectators: Dress Code: Bring swimwear and a towel. Clothes will get wet. Wetsuits, buoyancy aids and helmets are provided. Wearers of glasses need to either secure them firmly or go without. Contact lenses are OK. Guidelines: Restrictions: Min age 14. Under 18s must complete a parental consent form before taking part. Maximum weight 18 stone. All participants should be comfortable in water and able to swim. Other Info: Participants WILL get wet, but there are hot shower facilities at the venue. Jumping from the raft into still practice waters is part of the initial training session.
