For a pair of aquatic adventurers, nothing beats this white water rafting experience at the UK’s only natural white water centre in Denbighshire, Wales. Based in an area of outstanding beauty, the River Dee boasts some of the country’s most stunning scenery and with four kilometres of water rafting action to enjoy, it’s sure to be an incredible ride. Start things off with a safety briefing before getting kitted out and hopping into the minibus for the drive to the rapids. Once in the raft, hold on tight as you set off on a wild adventure which takes you through river sections including Serpents Tail, Boulder Blast, Tombstones, Town Falls and more. Are you brave enough to take on the rapids?

Availability: Seven days a week throughout the year, excluding the Christmas and New Year period. Weather: Rafting goes ahead in most conditions but may be affected by extreme weather. If cancelled, a different date can be arranged (if cancelled several times, an alternative activity can be offered). Duration: Trips start at 9am or 1.30pm and last up to three and a half hours, with up to two and a half hours spent on the water. Numbers On Day: Share the raft with up to five other adventurers, plus an expert instructor. Spectators: Dress Code: Please bring swimwear, a towel, a pair of old trainers and a change of clothes (no showers, but dry changing rooms are available). Wet suits and all specialist white water rafting equipment is provided. Guidelines: Restrictions: Minimum age is eight.
