Description

Experiencing the extravagance of a luxury skippered sailing yacht could be a superb end to a romantic day, or the perfect start to a night on the town. Start with a safety briefing on board a luxury skippered sailing yacht, then don some official sailing gear and a lifejacket. Willing participants can take the wheel and actively partake in some sailing, or if that sounds too daunting, just sit back and enjoy the cruise and views of Brighton and Hove with fellow crew members. Light refreshments (water, juice, teas, coffees and light snacks) are provided during the sail. And then once everyone is back on dry land, logbooks can be signed off for those who want to take their sailing further.

Availability: Selected Saturday evenings, at least once a month from May until August. Weather: Sailing is a weather dependent activity and therefore it’s vital to call the venue the day before your booking, to confirm conditions and go ahead. If postponed, an alternative date will be arranged. Duration: Runs approximately two hours during the evening. Please allow some extra time for a possible later return, depending on the tide and weather on the day. Please arrive in good time (ideally few minutes in advance). Numbers On Day: Share with up to ten people plus a cruising or yacht master instructor on board. Spectators: Spectators are welcome to wave you off from the marina, but won’t be able to join you on board. Dress Code: Wear flat, soft and light-soled, non-marking shoes (deck shoes or trainers) or you won’t be permitted aboard. Wear layers, it can get cold, bring extra clothes and sun protection. Life-jackets and sailing gear is provided. Guidelines: Restrictions: Minimum age is 16 accompanied by another voucher holding adult and 18 unaccompanied. No weight limit applies. Agility to get on and off the boat necessary but no previous sailing needed, and non-swimmers are welcome. Other Info: Where possible you will both race on the same boat together but please be aware that as two boats are used for the experience, this cannot be guaranteed.
