Experience the thrills and spills of Porsche supercar driving with this high-octane thrill at Cheshire’s professional Oulton Park Circuit. Begin with a safety briefing then hop into the passenger seat of a sports saloon for four miles worth of demonstration laps, driven by a seasoned instructor. Once familiar with racing lines and track handling techniques, it’s time to get down to some serious driving – take the wheel of the incredible 189 mph Porsche 911 Turbo (996 model) for six adrenaline-fuelled miles and negotiate every twist and turn of Oulton Park’s challenging circuit with an instructor by your side to shout tips and encouragement throughout. To finish, receive a driving assessment and take home a certificate as a memento.

Availability: At least one date every other month throughout the year. Dates fill very quickly, so we recommend booking 12 weeks in advance. Weather: Driving may be cancelled or curtailed in extreme weather conditions (e.g. snow, ice, heavy rain or high winds) which would make driving at speed dangerous. Please call the venue if in any doubt. Duration: Expect to be at the circuit for between an hour and two hours in total. Please arrive one hour in advance of the booked time to ensure a prompt start. Numbers On Day: All in-car tuition is on a one-to-one basis. Briefings are held in groups of up to 30 people. There are likely to be other vehicles on the track at the same time. Spectators: Friends and family are welcome and there are excellent spectating and catering facilities on-site. Please note that animals are not allowed at the circuit, with the exception of guide dogs. Dress Code: Wear trousers, a long-sleeved shirt and flat-soled shoes. A helmet is provided. Guidelines: Restrictions: Maximum weight is 18 stone. Minimum height is 4’11” and maximum is 6’5”. A full British or international manual driving licence must be produced on the day to guarantee participation. Other Info: The race circuit is MSA (Motor Sports Association) approved for quality and safety. The organiser was established in 1978 and is a founder member of The Association of Racing Drivers’ Schools. All instructors here are ARDS qualified. When booking expect to be offered the choice of buying a collision damage waiver at £20 to £40 additional charge. Please note there is no obligation to purchase this optional waiver.
